Been Looking for a Mitsubishi Evo for a cheaper play thing something around the 10k mark.
Hunted high and low and found what i thought was the perfect car, full service history, serviced twice a year, looks absolutely stunning. HPI`d it all good then did an MOT check, every year the car had corrosion issues, discs corroded, chassis corroded, wipers not working, tyres bald, suspension issues, track rod ends etc etc.
So if a car was serviced as much as the paperwork says surely it should have sailed through every MOT and never has so many issues. As my knowledge is very limited I was going to take a friend who knows about these cars but now I am not even going to view.
The sales pitch was the car kept in heated and air condioned garage no rust etc etc
So long and short of all this is use the free resources aswell as the paid for ones when checking out a car.
