When I first saw it I thought rarest of the rare before I read the ad. Still quite cool though.
How he can say 'unmolested' though I'm not sure because it started life Jewel Violet, but it does look rather nice.
    Cheers
    Trev.

Didn't they originally make a limited run of yellow ones? Thought Martin Hadland had one back in the day. But changing from jewel violet to yellow is just insane, but looks a tidy example

Never seen a JV Escort with red hex seats either? I wonder if the engine bay is yellow too, I'm guessing it itsnt since there are no pictures of it

So it started life as a monte? There's no monte wheels, no monte interior, no monte plaque on the dash, no monte alloy handbrake button, and it's been repainted. It really is 'unmolested' then!

There's a better looking one over on Car&Classic seemingly without claims of "Monte" heritage. It has half the mileage and hasn't even been repainted dog piss yellow...

1993 BT with a 1995/6 reg, most odd.

The DVLA can...and did! This car was first registered in Merzig, Germany in July 1993, imported to Luxembourg in October 1995 then imported to the UK earlier this year. The DVLA refused to recognise the original Ford Main Dealers documentation including an official vehicle dating letter from Ford Motor Company and instead issued the UK registration plates based upon the actual date the vehicle was registered in Luxembourg. Bonus for "NIGE" I guess...
