Odd question

anyone know what the square washers and bolts are for located about ten inches either side of bonnet catch, I've noticed some escorts don't have them

Standard intercoolers bolt to it

Most people up in the power are running rs500 style intercoolers

As said, they are for standard fit intercoolers.
