  • Synthetic Oil. Which is the best?

    Hello,
I am trying to find out which synthetic oil is the most appropriate for our engines these days! As I am going soon to run my new engine, I have been told for the following as the "best" choices:
    • Total
    • Red Line
What's your opinion if anybody has used them? Aso, any suggestions or experiences? What do you use?

    Thanks

      Amsoil

Amsoil. I've been using it for 35 years in everything I own. Amsoil filters (air and oil) are also the best on the market.

It's diff to state what is best as no one really knows but I use Titan pro s and have no problems with it.

I know Mark! Just trying to combine the most of info. Viscosity is a very crucial factor I am looking for among others..

I use this too, 10w50 and keeps the engine far quieter over the others I have found. Especially motul!

I use oil of Carrefour a french marquet that took over in mobile1 5w 50 as original API SG/CD recommended by Ford
In reality it is the Mobil 1, Carrefour stamped!
I'd rather be walking that drive Subaru.
