Seems to be how dealers work, if it doesn't sell put the price up

Been 60k since it came on the market a few weeks ago, I'm sure there was a thread on here about it

nice mileage and all that but really 60k?

when you look at what 60k buys you these days i think the whole thing is complete madness as a comparison and i love the esos but would I pay this for one, no chance.

If it was a big turbo it would be worth it

                Definetly lol

All of this could just be a bubble of course !..........imagine if you bought that and then the bubble burst and it's value halved I'm sure it's happened in the past so could happen again leaving people with burnt fingers
I guess it's doubtful they'll ever go back to their lowest values but sooner or later the smart money is gonna move out of this market and onto something else !

We have been saying the bubble will go pop for well over a year now and still they are steadily going up , 60k is imo crazy and not worth anywhere near that but hey how some folk have plenty csh floating around , they won't drop to 15k like good ones were years ago but the time will come when they peak and move downwards imo . 60k for escos ? No

i like looking at these threads now i no longer have one because i can be impartial, there seems to be a lot of folk who are desperate to own one [boyhood dream presumably] but they dont want to pay more than around £25k which is a pretty sensible price, when you get cars like this then theres no way on earth its even close to being realistic,if it was showroom miles and how it left the factory then id say possibly/maybe but absolute top price for any used example is £40k id say,and thats around 10k miles or so,when you start going higher then there are some real supercars for that sort of cash

I agree with Nick, they do have a ceiling and some people are well above with their prices, no-one's going to buy one at that price unless they're insane or money literally means nothing to them.
                      Cheers

yes trev, i think you would need to be a millionaire so you can just add one to your collection of toys or whatever, theres no way a "normal " sort of buyer would pay that for a second car [or even first]

I'm sorry but if I was going to spend £60k on an old Ford then it'd have to be a standard Moonstone blue RS500' not a small turbo escort

It's only £215 each if we all chipped in!

If every member that's visited the site today paid 215 we could all own it and have it at the shows to bufty over, cause let's face it for 60k and them miles you wouldn't drive it!

some folk are dreaming, usable nice cars 15 to 20, then well modded ones up to 25 then up to 35 for the low mileage, A1 class cars.

Not sure if anyone else is getting a bit tired of seeing the topic discussed so much
