  • Arrow Carrillo rods

Been looking for rods for an engine build and can only find Arrow rods advertised for a yb. Have read a lot of good thing about Carrillo too but cant find then advertised anywhere.

I take it from what I have read very little separate's these as both receive good reviews so either would be a good addition to a build but what length is best, standard or 136mm? and why?

Also can anybody recommend the cheapest place they know to purchase them?

    Cheers

    Arrow is good.

136mm is for the better angle, need pistons made for 136mm rods for them too.

ask xpower on here, he can answere and get you what you need.

I have new 136mm Arrow rods available which come with ARP 625 bolts, have been designed for 700+ BHP.
I can get standard length also.
        All subject to stock level.
Cosworth are making a batch of pistons to suit at standard bore size pistons and for linered blocks.
I may have a set of CP pistons available also 0.5mm over standard bore.
        message me if interested.

What is the steel specification ?
Arrow rods can be specified in a better grade of steel M2000 which is what the rallycross engines use.
Doubles the price of the rods.

That is the only way to build reliable high power engines.

What sort of price are these rods ? Iv just got a block I'm going to use as a base for a 600+ engine and want a decent set of rods and Pistons that are up to the task just need to roughly know how much I need to save. Is it worth spending out to have a 200 block linered or better off getting alloy block?
