  • need advice, plate inside the block

    Hi Gents

I bought a engine a while back and just starting to get it sorted now but come across this.

Inside the block there is a plate which covers over the breather hole but the one in my block has been removed.

Is this plate necessary is yes where the hell am I gonna get one

    Cheers si

It was going back a while, but the 2.0 8v twin cam pinto may have one of those breather guards.

You could try ringing Burton's, I got one from them couple of years ago.
