Reverse Gear Shifter

I'm baffled to how this goes back on

I bought this and got stung for £23.50 import fees???


I'm not sure how you get the reverse bit to link on, is it using a pin of some sort? Photos would be useful if anyone has any.

in the top you need a horsehoe shaped piece with a small tag on, you loop the reverse gear lockout wire over the little tag then clip the horsehoe shaped piece back into the top of it

Thanks for that, much appreciated, do you have to release the wire for this as it's near on impossible to stretch it to fit the horse shoe thing?

no you put it over the tag on the horseshoe then pivot it over the gearstick housing then it wil drop in
or you can lift up the bottom section manually then using a small screwdriver prise it over the tag

I bought some of them as well and found it a bit fiddly to fit i was concerned as the plastic was quite solid i thought i may snap a bit off. But it was ok. Maybe soak it in hot water 1st.
