I have on but it's now a big bore 3.4lt 01 model. Great fun. My engine build is on my fb page.
Thanks for that.. the one I'm looking at has 120,000 miles on the clock. Is there anything that could need replacing at this mileage or any common faults to look for??

Ima bearing. Generally very good cars.
At those miles just check as much as you can don't be to worried about big puffs of blues smoke every now and then on start up common nature of flat six engine.
Ok,thanks Mark. Is there any tell tail signs of the ims bearing is knackered?? I see there are upgrades available, but as far as I can see,it's not a cheap job and can cause engine failure. does it make any noise?? I have read that if it hasn't been upgraded then don't buy the car. How true is that?

Leak from engine to box is a sign and gets noisy just before it goes. Both my cars bearings where fine at 65k strip downs.
