  • Quarter window caps

    Got a bit of rust on the quarter window caps
    problem is the rust has run down the glass and stained it, any ideas how to remove the rust stain, normal window cleaner won't move it

      You'll have a job polishing it, it eats into it. You may improve it but I doubt you'll fully remove it.

          have done it few times, and its not that big problem. using machine offcourse, and fine "rubbing" first. i am not talking about hand polish With wax or similar...

            Thanks guys, don't think i was trying hard enough
            put some g10 on a rag and it come off easy

                mines been stained for 13 years since I bought the car and replaced the caps, will try some G 10
                tried all sorts back then without success
