Not be much change from 20k for a new seq ffd. That's if you have no box to start with. Can't remember what the conversion is, around 9k I think, if you have box already. someone may correct that.

Some of the casing have to be replaced, it's the parts that cost the money, baras labour is pretty good. Gears are £500 pair now.

Just purchased a Quafie sequential box today, so if anyone is interested I have an FFD 6 speed H pattern box with handbrake release up for grabs. Im not sure how to price it, so at present it is open to offers (Sensible) in the region of 6k.

I hope they offered some discount.
              Did you get a 69G ?
If so with the latest design input shaft ?
Are you using it in competition or road ?

It will be mainly road use, with the odd track day thrown in as well, I believe the box is an earlier model.

This is confusing.. I always thought ffd were the daddy.. quaife not so much and weaker in comparison... well that was what I have read on here and that other forum...

                  Xtrac - best
                  ffd - almost as good
                  r&d - very good
                  quaife - not as good

for what its worth I'm sure the quaife will be great.. not a mickey mouse company and there products usually have great support..
