2017 nat day

Not been around for quite a while but are there any rumours about anything being arranged at nat day for the 25th year of the mighty escort.

If its anything like National day this year i wouldn't bother, total waste of money, would never go to another!

I would imagine any arrangement for the day would normally be arranged by the escort registrar, who that will be I don't know.

I did not attend this due to to going away on holiday however I do support the RSOC days when I can.

a few mistakes this year I believe, hopefully they can be sorted out and make the day better than last year.

Why not arrange something for one of the other shows between us and the RSOC?

seems a shame that 25 years of other marques has been celebrated but the escort will miss out but as the love has been declining for the rs range and club over the last few years its not a suprise. Shame really.

No doubt there'll be something to commemorate it but it depends on who the registrar is and who will go on the registrar's stand.

I can't see the club interested in joining forces as it were, been there and tried that when I co-owned the series one site and had no interest. I guess the way the mk1 frs owners has gone speaks volumes too.

Arrange something like the cosworth factory tour again, something at ford fair perhaps and ask for more of a central space or just arrange an anniversary get together at donnington or gaydon motor museum. I'm sure there would be interest for magazine features

That will be their downfall, so for example there is fukc all activity on the rsoc site as most just use this, but the rsoc fail to see the importance and thus model by model they'll loose members. They're far to busy moderating the Fb page to note that the club in it's current format is destined to fail.
