aren't parents great re: lending money!

Was at a total dead end with regards to my car being stood dead at NMS with a fooked turbo as I just couldn't gather up the big chunk of cash I needed to buy a new turbo for her.

Claire said to me, "Could your dad not lend you some money?" bearing in mind my Dad is a retired school caretaker on state pension and my Mam is a retired school cook that works for me for £70 a week.........my Dad has loaned me the money out of their holiday fund so I can get my car sorted. They hate me messing around with the car and always say i'm mad that I spend so much on her but they've gave me the money to get me out of a big hole! Parents are great and mine would give me their last to help me out. Dunno what I'd do without them

So hopefully I might be able to pick up my car next saturday after all.!!!

I remember my Mum and Dad lent me the money for a gearbox for my S1 many years ago. Totally ripped the diff out of it pulling away

im lucky that way my parents are well off.dad loaned me 4 grand last june.paid him it back at a grand a month tho so wasnt too bad.could be doing with another wee loan from them actuallycant beat some interest free
