Denso iridium ik27

[MATCOS]

Is there only one sort of IK27's, ie if I get the ones below will they be OK on a Cosworth
I know some people don't like them but I want to use them

these denso plugs wernt meant to be regapped...hence why you hear of the tips falling off and destroying the engine....071's are all you will ever need.

iv been on ik24 for a long time and no problems they work fine for my 500hp.

071 plugs IMO are crap and you would never get me using them,
I have been using IK plugs for years and continue to use them.

...mark i am gonna disagree i have only ever used 071's after champions lasted about 10 miles and as said the weak tip on the denso's (if gapped a couple of times) put me right off not to mention the price..lol

Rods engine has only ever run IK plugs,
The only downside to most cold plugs is once they foul they are dead, The trick is to make sure they dont and cold start mapping needs to be right.

If you use the correct heat range and they last as they should.

ye i tried a couple of types along with ngk, champion etc, over the last 10 years and the 071 at £8 far exceeded any other £60 sets
