made the wife sick today

Well she decided to drop my gear box off for me today and so i let her put it in the boot of her car and off she went, the trip is about 50 miles there and after about 10 minutes i get a phone call and while she is moaning about the bad smell that is now coming from the boot she was sick seams the nasty smelling oil had leaked out abit and made her gag and then had to drive the rest with all the windows down, the lads at bara had a when she got there only problem now is she wont pick it back up when its fixed nor will she let me use her car dont think i helped when i laughed down the phone while she was being sick by the side off the road

when i took my driveshafts out oil spilled on to the garage floor.honestly after working in the garage for an hour i was as sick as a parrot for the rest of the nite.not a nice smell and it lingered about for ages

Gearbox oil is evil stuff, my wife hates its aswell, it was a warm day aswell today must have really kicked up

pmsl,thats harsh dunc. its not nice stuff.i got covered in 75/90 when i had to put a box in my 205 mi with a mate,i was holding it up at the time the joint came out and got soaked in it.my coat stank so bad i couldnt even use it for cleaning the car or anything

wait until you take a gearbox out on axle stands and the front pop moves out of position and you get a mouthful!!!!

its definitly not nice and is the worst piossible taste and smell in the world i can tell ya

Try servicing a crane, sometimes theres 20gallon altogether that needs changing, it goes everywhere

It does stink ! I never noticed untill i had a load down my arm from the gearbox
