No, this happened yesterday on the way to the Ring (so not even with any abuse - it was obviously an issue from the dyno failure). They made it to the hotel, but the car has to go back with the AA .

Hammer it around a track before hand, if it survives that, it will survive the 'Ring. Unfortunately you can't always do that. On the two occasions mine has come back on a recovery truck, one has been due to not having enough development time after a major modification just prior to the trip (like Dave), and the other has been an unforeseeable crank failure .

Mine was corroded power steering pipes that I hadn't noticed, so it could of gone anytime anywhere! It was just fate it happened when Her Indoors was ragging it round the Ring!
