I think it was more a case of not enough air getting through rather than high temps! It only got to just over 28psi!

mines a 60mm and that is prity much a identical engine to mine.. apart from my turbo is a t38, mine made 443bhp bore washing with a 4x4 inlet and exhaust manifold but i'm changing them to the same as yours!! i'm expecting 460+ with a live map...

Tony at Turbosystems said it will flow enought fuel for 500bhp. He just warned me not to run it low on fuel.

good luck mate!! i would personly not have my car mapped to that power on that pump as soon as the car moves the fuel it will serge and it will melt. as it will be fully flat out

What fuel do you guys use to run such high boost pressure? Pump fuel or a mix of pump + toluene or race fuel?

I use Shell V Power/Optimax (99 ron) or sometimes BP Ultimate.

I've heard that Silverstone are doing BP Race fuel, so I'll be trying that at Ford Fair I think! (Although I'd better remortgage the house first! )

i fully agree, you are upto and way beyond what id be happy to try and get from an engine when your only using an 023 pump, you need to get something else fitted inline, even if its just a swirl pot and a single 044.
the 023 will easily cope as a low pressure pump feeding a swirl pot.

i do believe its what Sheady now classes as his 500/500 engines.

Dave was about to step up to the GT30 on that engine when the deal happened with Ranj on his monster engine that Sheady was building and the evoloution for bigger power started to where he is now

The 023 runs out of puff at 450bhp...so be aware you are running a time bomb engine if you try a top speed run!

AVA rollers over read i see....so mikes SCS 515BHP engine was 400 at the wheels which on the reyland rollers would prob have been 370.....but a nice solid 440bhp engine

I hve done what the tuner told me, he said that i should see close to 500bhp. When he was mapping the car the fuel was there. but the car does not feel that quick. Thats why I am putting it on the rollers tomorrow.
