                  scott this is what i have been thinking about

                  Buy another escort coss at about £10k, swop over my box, diffs, engine, loom, ecu, fuel system, brakes and wheels into the £10k escort, bufty the box, diffs ect and put into N55 COS and then sell N55 COS the only problem is this

                  First i need to out lay £10k plus the time and materials to swop the bits over, then sell N55 COS probley about £16k to £18K max as it would be bufty mint but not the same engine, that then leaves me with the other escort to put my uprated bits in.
                  So i have spent out £10k + what ever it has cost to make the other bits mint say £1k so thats now £11k and dont include my time, i have now sold N55 COS for the top price £18k ( if i am lucky) so at best i am now £7k up nice but i now only have an escort worth about £20k max but a nice spec as the body ect is not as good as the other one, so at best i am at about £27k and the car that i have now is worth more than that so what is the point ? i might as well just use mine as at least i know my car is sound and has no rust ect and like i said befor as its insured for £35k with the club if it did go very wrong out on track getting £35k back wouldnt be so bad

                    like you say why bother with two, just de-spec yours Dunc sell the bits you dont need and then enjoy / track the car you built to enjoy.....
