    Karl,

I got a parcel shelf from a breakers once for £ 10.00 and it was identical to the Es Cos one - maybe a slightly different shade of grey.

I've had a read of it but dont feel the need to get involved

but back to the important stuff

Back in the day, I had a 1.8 16v mk5 escort which had a grey parcel shelf

but the one in the is black

yeah its a heavy one that other post,i say my bit quick and get the hell out before someone moans and then take a quick peek to see if the coast is clear

i used to have so many escort mk5's,std and rs2000 and i can't remember if they were grey or black or what and i never tried to fit one from one to another.

nice one Doug, i was pretty sure that std 3dr mk5 and were the same shape and size but it does seem to be the colour that is the difference

my mate who owns a valeting buisness uses trim spray and that can change carpet and trim colour no probs but its a weird feeling putting a coat of paint on trim
