pc help please [now with pic]

ive just downloaded some updates for the pc and its altered the text somehow,it seem to be stretched upwards and the pics are all weird and stretched,how can i get it back to normal? wish i hadnt bothered with the updates now,ive tried altering the font size and zoom level but that doesnt make things any better

you can always roll back the updates. control panel, add remove programmes - make sure the 'show updates' bit is ticked, scroll down to the date you installed them, highlight, click on remove. reboot. should be back to how it was previously.

you can say that again dave it makes it hard work reading it,
i cant remove the updates as it installed loads of them and some vista service packs so dont want to lose them,ill have another fiddle

go to the desktop and right click anywhere and go to settings then adjust the screen resolution

also just noticed that if i do a quote the right column of smileys are half off the screen,im sure i used to do something with the mouse where you could sort of use the scroll wheel or something to zoom in?
