Front Windscreen seals

But are the seals on the front windscreen in 1 pc or 3? (K plate)???

So why does mine have separate side seals?

Has it had a screen in before may have snapped really dont no

Its 1 seal Franco, mine got taken out for the respray before i had it. But you cant fit it back in with the screen in place, i spoke to the window fitters at work and i ended up having to have a new screen £150 heated new and fitted though

im pretty sure the side parts are joined to the top rubber or something

yeah I can vouch for them being 1 piece, the screen and its bond keep it in place (or should do) lol

this is good for forward planning, seeing as my screen has got to come out soon for further works

I told him it was a single piece this morning so was just enjoying the thread

well mine deffo has 3 pieces............. As ive checked. Oh well, i'll let autoglass sort.

paul,i spoke to my son who works for autoglass, he has worked for them for 10 years, he has infact come across a 3 piece seal once. he says they were shite and are no longer made. there was a top seal and two side seals.
just replace with a one piece seal.
