iam pretty sure mine is on its way out always clicking and the clutch bites rite at the bottom is it an easy job? and does anyone know were the best place to get one is

that would be great i have done one on a mk6 escort but it was a long time ago now....are they all the same for fiestas escorts orions do you know.....theres a few on ebay at around £4 or do you recomend ford for the right one

i wouldnt even attempt to try and do the rachet on the car.
heres how i would do it...
undo the 10mm on the steering joint under the bonnett. 5-10mins
remove steering wheel cowling 5-10mins
remove the big plastic lower dash 5-10mins
undo the 4 bolts holding the steering colum in. 20mins
once thats out
undo the 4 bolts holding the pedal box in 20mins
once thats out its 10mins to swap it over.. then refit
easy mate get the rachit from fords!!
i reacon its 4 hours work max...Comment
