I need to borrow the following If possible:

A Escort Cosworth TPS (09)
A set of Green injectors

And the hard part

A L8 ECU with coilpack board......

All obviously need to be know to work

Franco how long do you need the ECU for? I can lend you greens and the L8 with wasted spark etc, but the chip is for 83Lbs injectors, sure you could just swap them?

unsure mate, just need to at least rule it out! Then at least we know what i need to get......... I have a feeling its either the 8 injector board thats in it or the msd one.

Up to you mate, I have a L8 with the wasted spark, or a P8 super 8 with the 8 injector board in, and a set of greens. If the 4x4 saff tps is the same as the escort one then I have one of those as well if you need it. Can have the p8 and greens as long as you need them, the L8 and tps I could lend you for a couple of weeks . Welcome to drop up to brum the weekend, or I can meet you down the M40 or M4, let me know

What actually is the problem you are having?

Its massively overfuelling Will, on the CO machine we started off a 12.00 (when Martin wanted it to be 3 to 3.5!) had a play with the Co pot on the ECU, changed the 3 bar over for a known working one, turned the fuel pressure down from 3.1 bar to 2.1 and finally ended up at 7.00........

I've been struggling to get the car up to Martins all week (as I havent got the dosh for a transporter when my weddings in 3 weeks!) and speaking to Martin, all he's going to do is change the Injectors, MAP, ECU and TPS to find the fault. Seems pointless him doing something I can do!

I don't think its the TPS as the pectel monitor isnt showing anything over enthusiastic on the values, and has anyone ever heard of a set of injectors causing overfuelling?! That only leaves the ECU......

Franco i would lend you my ECU, but i had running problems before i took it off the road and i havnt ruled out the ECU yet. Dont want to send it down, for it not to work and waste your time.

No drama's mate, I'd rather have a known working one TBH. Will, i'll give you a call in a bit about the L8........... No drama's about the timescale, as I just need to know it is the ECU, then I can beat some people!
