Donnington F1 all over..........

For those who may be interested,... seems that Donningtons hopes of the F1 slot have fizzled out after a bond issue to try and raise 135m has fell apart... as most guessed it will be back at Sliverstone .... and leaves Donnington with no F1 no MotoGP ,half a track and no money !!

daft idea Gazza,its a nice place but donnington is nowhere near as standard as silverstone.

i would rather travell to donnington though as its only a hr and a half away

not really.i expected this anyway. and i love donno but as a touring car track/bike track.it isnt good enough for f1 and neither are their road systems in.
silverstone is great for it,the drivers love it but its not a bike track in the slightest

it was inevitable, and with the state of the place at ND, going to be a bigger mess now. The place is not modern enough to host f1.

you have to remember if donnington had of got the money, all the pits paddock area you were in at nat day would not have been used by the f1 teams, the support stuff woulf have been in there, the new stuff was to have been as good as anywhere else on the calender..

all a pipe dream now tho!!

yeah, i would of thought that. Place does need modernisation and a revamp tho in my opinion
