The Escort Cosworth was a very rare car indeed, with a mere 7,145 vehicles produced from the start of production on 19 February 1992 until the last car rolled out of the factory on the 12th of January 1996.

Im reading a book on the Escos WRC / rally car at the moment and im sure ive seen figures in there of how many cars were produced in which year. Not sure if it then breaks that down into colour numbers but i'll have a look and let you know

i could read the front page off by heart,thing is though it does not mention who the most succesfull driver was and the fact he won the european rally championship and the belgian rally championship outright in the year of 1994 in a .
subaru,lancia,mitsubishi and toyota etc stood no chance.
it would be nice to include them facts and a pic as a way of honouring the acchievements of the car we own and love. Plus the guy who ran the team after i told him about here joined up i see which lets face it is really nice and i hope he can still see the pics i find as some make their way onto his own website.

I think he only knows about the black ones, I doubt you would be able to get a true figure on how many colours as we all know Ford registered them what ever colour they liked
