This may be a silly question but did the Escort Cosworth come with just manual operated Sunroofs or were they available as electric powered ones as well?

Mine is manual and I will be getting the roof redone as it is sagging and while it is out it may be worth changing it to electric if it was available.

Mine was manual, I bought the motor from ebay, the cover and the switch from FORD, and just wired it straight from the fuse box.

Nothing more embarassing than sitting in traffic wanking the handle to get the roof open!

I wish mine was electric, but I doubt I'll ever change it. The only way I'd change it, was if I could have the button somewhere near the steering wheel and not where the handle goes and I have much bigger things than that to worry about!
