escos bonnets

will a MK5 escort RS 2000 bonnet fit an escos? it has the same headlights and side lights ?
I know it does not have vents but will it go on.

not that i have seen but they did import the MK5 and MK6 escorts into new zealand, the reason i was asking is because i want to get alight pod for my bonnet and i want to keep my original one as you have to drill holes in it to fit the pod, so i was thinking of an RS 2000 bonet with fibreglass vents in it, to use when i want the pod on.

be easier to buy another escos bonnet than it would put vents in a mk5 one wouldnt it ?

also the rs2000 one has buldges in so vents couldnt go in with that bonnet !

IF I WAS YOU I WOULD buy a f/g bonnet and some replica vents and make it look nice or find a damaged genuine bonnet that your not arsed about fitting the lights too.

tbh some of them big light pods iirc fit onto the cozzie bumper also.
fraser will know for sure as thats his game wiring up the lamps for the night stages.

any mk5 bonnet will fit a escort,i think the mk 6 will go on to as i remember the l reg rwd 24v escort cos ford did and that had the later type bonnet with the grill inbuilt.

I,m unable to tell you about the weather in OZ at the moment (the MRS says ist sunny most of the time but some days it will rain) as i work in Indonesia for 2 months at a time, I,m not back in OZ till mid december but i know for a fact it will be the beggining of summer then so about 35 degrees c most of the time and sunny every day, where i am now im 4000 mts above sea level in the mountains so its foggy a lot, and rains most days, Dont get to see much of it as i work underground for 12 hours a day, getup, DARK got to work, DARK Come home DARK, just like a mole at the moment.
