Whilst viewing progress on my Cossie today was introduced to a guy called Mike Gibbs who then announced that in 1989 his company MGA Developments had designed the Escort Cosworth.
Heard a few stories of its design & there was I thinking the Whaletail was designed in a wind Tunnel .
He then said he maybe still had pictures/drawings of its early stages not previously given to the press, he took my e-mail & said he will be in touch when he has looked.
I checked his claim on Wiki so know hes genuine & I will post if/when they arrive.
ps. He is now retired & into Historic Racing in a 1930's Frazer Nash & is still developing the engines 70 years on including a newly designed Block to stop warping as they are now at 170bhp in an engine designed for 80, now where have i heard that before.
Cheers
