i have the 18"escort cosworth wheels on my car,the tyres are rubbing on the bottom of the shockwhen its on the ground.anyone else have this problem and if so how did you sort it out?don't fancy taking a hammer or a grinder to my koni's.

i cut a section of the cup off on mine & rewelded a flat bit back in before spraying them , but you can do a neat enough job with a block of & a lump hammer , bang it a bit at a time and just keep refitting the alloy back on and just keep looking behind to see if there enough clearance , i was running 225/40/18s
