At last, my horrible modern Ford will be going shortly so i will be on the hunt for my new daily 
Question is, what do you think i should go for 
Only slight problem is that i will be using the car for work, as well as to actually get to and from work, but im office based so its not like it will ever be full of tools or whatever.
My dream would be an RS500 but a), I couldn’t afford this and b), id probably get shot if I put something like 15k miles a year on it.
I also have a very soft spot for mk1 Escorts (xflow, pinto, zetec, whatever really) and nearly equally like mk2 Escorts, sapphires (2wd, not 4wd), all things Capri based (1, 2 or 3 in any version apart from a V4), 105e’s or 100e’s. I did also think about an E30 M3 but any that i can find in my price bracket seem to be a bit rough so then i thought about an E36 M3 or something similar. Thing is, i really like 70’s, 80’s and 90’s Ford’s so the BMW idea will probably cheese me right off sooner than i think, especially come the show seasons !
All must be 2 door though (except sapphires obviously). Sorry, 4 doors just arent my thing
I'll probably have about £8k ish to spend.
