  • what injectors

    im going to be going upto stage 3 soon and am looking for around 350bhp which injectors would be best 403's or 803's

    i'd go 403s or 400's even better...loads of off the shelf maps about350bhp is maxing the 803 really.

        Either 803s or 400s are fit for 350bhp. The 400s give you a margin if you want to go for a little more power later, but anything over 350bhp with the 803s is pushing them above 80% duty cycle, which is obviously not ideal, as you have very little safety margin. 350bhp doesn't warrant 403s IMO, unless you intend to run over 400bhp at a later date.

          so the 400s will be good if i want to push for 380bhp

            am i right in guessing the 400s are the light blues and the escos comes standerd with dark blues

              Correct . The 400s also have a much nicer spray pattern than the 403s .

                    Very good, are they proper 400's? Check if they have the fitting kit, as std they wont fit the YB.

                      What exactly is the fitting kit Phil? I hear people talk about it all the time especially with Greys...

                        its because the injector nozzles are a slightly slimmer design, they need a larger rubber O ring to ensure a snug and perfect fit.

                        Lee, if they are genuine then it is a good deal, but definatley get them off to Phil for an overhaul and clean before you use them.
