John/Mike, can you explain please? I don't wanna order a new shaft and find out I'm gonna have problems. Cheers

As John correctly states, the XR4x4 ones are 25mm longer than standard, which is WAY too long (unless you are running 4° negative camber on the front ), and they will bind as they will end up touching the end of the hubs / inside of the diff.

The GGR ones are 10mm longer, which is perfect. However, be aware that the GGR ones come with aftermarket joints etc, which don't seem to last as long as the OE Ford ones....

As Mike points out, they are far to long.

I tried them several years ago and it was fookin' awfull, the car had no real feedback, was horrid to drive and a complete waste of money and effort.
Unless your running huge camber that warrants you using them, DONT!!

U might find you have another problem that has caused the joint to fail & its not the shaft at fault.

Ford want around the same money for a standard shaft as GGR charge for the modified one.

                              + an exchange unit.
