Cheers Jules, I know who owns that car I would have come along but it was too far to drive and i've managed to pick up a horrible man flu over xmas so feel like complete shit at the moment! Not driven the car for nearly 5 days!

The organisers issued this statement :-

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As co-organiser of this event can I say a huge thank you to Nick (ncs) and the South East London North West Kent TVRCC for the marshalling, to all my staff who gave their time to support this event.

Also I need to mention the landowners Broadditch Farm who donated their land for this event and Will the guy in wellies who opened up extra parking when the need arose.

Sorry to everyone about the mud situation, weeks of rain followed by heavy snow has left the ground saturated, last year as Harsh said the ground was frozen so not much of a problem.

Thanks to everyone who turned up some very special cars.

As some of you may of noticed later in the morning we had a visit from the Police following complaints about people leaving the event sideways, they were very understanding when we explained how slippery the road was

Unfortunately some people decided to park in the village lane trapping a bus for over an hour, I believe it was a red Audi A3 and a Nissan GTi, there was no need we had plenty of parking here.

We had an original list of 250 cars but 358 turned up and that is as much as we can cope with, and due to the lane being blocked (we cannot afford to be upsetting the locals) it is with great shame that we will not be doing the event again here.

Thanks again everyone who made this event as good as it was.

Doesn't sound like your average PH'er to me, sounds like a couple of local knobs turning up to look at the supercars and spoiling the day for everyone as usual!

To be honest if the turnout for meetings is going to attract a further 40% over the limit of cars then PH really need to find a venue that can accomodate everyone together IMO

Dan, that CSL was on the convoy from Canary Wharf, sounded lovely, especially in the tunnels but then got drowned out by the 360 Challenge Stradale Escos sounded crap of course........

The owner of that CSL calls himself Yanto on PH i think unless i'm getting it mixed up with another CSL that was there yesterday

Don't think anyone would have anticipated an extra 40% turnout at this time of year though they did just about manage to cope by opening up an extra field for parking. I'm partly to blame for this as i invited people off this forum who are not registered on PH so 'I SHOULD' have added Ronnie and Jon to the list on PH that was capped at 250 - Rich is on there and managed to bag the last place In future i will add people onto lists, my fault entirely !
The trouble with these things getting so big now is that the venues will have to be huge and away from residential areas so as not to upset anyone and then it could all start to get a bit corporate and the venues might want to start charging admission which will spoil it.......... it's been good so far with venues like Marsh Farm Barn as it's a bit more intimate and interesting.
It could go the same way as the Tunnel run Forum which got so busy that London was brought to a standstill and the Police were not impressed so that is now all on a secret forum where you have to be vouched to get in which is a shame but it's the only way it can survive......

He is 'Yanto' on other forums aswell lol a lovely example, mine was at full chat this morning, no need for a stereo!

Not your fault at all mate, nothing wrong with promoting the PH meets the same as anything else, perhaps restricting numbers is just a little naive on PH's part?

P.s I've never heard of a Tunnel Run!?

Never heard of a Tunnel Run ......... don't they have Tunnels on the Costa Del Bournemoth

You haven't lived and now you have the perfect car for it

They're not all in secret........ there is a public one in Cardiff on New Years Eve.......... Think i'll give that a miss though

It is more of a city thing, so obviously more about noise than speed

No tunnels out in the country mate, just plenty of winding A & B Roads though woods and the countryside!

No good this time of year though, it's rutting season for Deer and they are mental, just stand in the road and get clobbered, I know, I've done it twice before!

No, if it was Pacifica Blue with white (dirty ) comps then that would have been Rolls car

Jon was parked by the entrance but arrived late so possibly after you had left......

I've looked through all the pics on PH and can't find one of your car Ronnie Shame really as i would liked to have seen it on the day

Next one is Milton Keynes in Feb at VW Headquarters

Went out on a run on New Years Day and had the pleasure of bumping into a fella called Paul Garlick who is Pistonheads - i put it to him that people always moan that these things are always in the South He said they tried one up the North and only 30 cars turned up but that the new plan is to have some of these events move gradually North in the hope that word would slowly get around and generate a bit more interest
They did have one at Silverstone this year and the turnout was ok-ish so they're still playing fairly safe with Milton Keynes but hopefully it'll be a good turnout and they'll keep pushing further up North
