Hello from Spain

Hi, guys.

My name is Dani, from Spain. I'm a cars mechanic, and I have a white Escort Cosworth T35, since 13 years ago..

I'm 36 years old.., and how you can see, I starded with this car, very soon..


As everybody can imagine.., I have lived with this cossie, a lot of adventures..



Nowdays, this car is in a quite good condition..., and works perfectly from 2004, when I rebuilt completly the engine, with oversized accralite forged pistons.., new valve guides, seals, springs..., turbo rebuilt with 270º axial, bosch fuel pump.., etc..

A nice amount of money.., but was the best spendt of money, I have done.., because since that day, it works simply perfect.

How I said is in a good condition.., but not perfect like yours.., but I think, this kind of cars, never is going to be finished.. Every day, we can imagine a new mod to do.., or a new part to mount or replace.

I'm from the north of Spain, from the region of Burgos.

I have the Cantabric sea, 70 kilometers from my house.., and of course, this part of Spain, is full of mountain roads.., where the escort can show its best..


My region its quite similar, to Galicia, where lives our friend Lunes86.., but with less speed controls

The main road from Santiago, to La Coruña, its crazy with the speed controls. There de police has a Merecedes C class, with cameras.


I know quite well that region, because my girlfriend is from Ordes.. Pretty close to you But, now we live in Burgos.

In Spain, the pass in the mountains, is called "puerto".., so, the first picture, is the Mazorra's pass.., or in spanish, Puerto de la Mazorra.

Is like a circuit.. 70 kilometers from my home.

This road.., used to be free.., without trafic.., and without police presence.. It's perfect..

That road looks real good, we have some cool roads here in Loch Lomond and further North.
It would be nice if you posted some more road trips you have done or do in the future. The mountains look so inviting.
