What do you mean upgrade them, Steve? New lenses or something like that?

I have the standard ones in but I'm sure I've seen ones with Crystal or clear lenses in just a more modern look but not to sure where to start to look, can you get direct replacement

I'm not sure how easy they are to source these days. They were a pain to get hold of when I went about it.

You can buy "non-Morette" branded crystal lenses and fit them but it might take a bit of modifying to get them in nicely.
The outer crystal lenses should fit in the existing rings but the inner crystals are a different design to the originals.

Have a search through past posts because I know I've put a fair bit of info up about them.

If you can't find anything I'll dig out the details on my computer.

The inner ones are the ones that seem to corrode. I did a bit of research and found these replacements on eBay. The lenses are more modern but apparently they will fit. I haven't bought any yet so can't say what the quality is.

Here are the outer ones. Morette actually used Hella lamps as their original crystal lenses. The inner ones were Valeo.

If those photos are accurate representations then they'll definitely fit the existing rings.

Rapid Ford used to sell lenses and spares and stuff, not sure if they still do. Iv got the old style morrettes and fancied a change but the replacement parts were so expensive I'd have been just aswell buying a brand new set of crystals.

I have to say that the Morettes I have on mine (the original ones with the Cibié units) are the best headlights I've had on ANY car, and I'm including HID and LED in that. I wish modern headlights could be even nearly as good.

Don't look nearly so nice as the older ones either.
