I agree with you Dave to an extent. I've grown up with the " Real Cossie" engine look and prefer the BT engine looks. I wouldn't go so far as to say the ST looks crap but not IMO as good as the BT. Bottom line is who cares, an ESCOS is an Escos in the end. Either engine can be tuned for big power if required with the right funds and mods
so its down to looks and personal choice in the end. For me BT all the way

So you've made up your mind then........

I think the ST cam and cambelt covers look a better integrated design. The BT covers look like they were designed by two different people who never coordinated.

        Smithy,

I've weighed a few BT and ST head castings and cam covers. The ST cam/coil cover is magnesium/plastic and lighter than BT aluminium. The ST head casting is heavier than BT by the above amount. Make of it what you will.

BT uses a distributor, a lot of BT owners spend money getting around that.

Best turbos available are the EFR range. Real question is what size EFR you want. Drive the ST a bit before you decide what you want from it. Think about what type of driving you will do in it.

By all accounts Mark is the EFR B2 frame Cossie guru.

        Edit:
The clutches are said to be good for 350hp and the boxes 380hp. So my perspective is choose a turbo accordingly or be ready to upgrade the drivetrain.

As mentioned above it's the drivetrain that becomes an issue above 350, depends on the driving style and power delivery too though.

I don't think they go in chassis order, if you speak to Dave nicely he might be able to tell you the number of yours (mines chassis SP93188)
