you have come in at a give or take junction id say as 13K will get you an escort cossie alright but you might have to spend a little to get it how you want of you might have to setttle for more miles than you want.

i paid £13500 for mine with 42012 on the clock and standard, ive had to put another £1500 to get her just as i want it so she stands me in £15000 and its now 42409 on the clock.

if i was to sell mine now id be wanting £15K min as the new owner simply as nothing to do etc. .......... patenice is the key and £13K will buy you a nice escort it might take 4 weeks ... 4 months ......... whereas £15/17K you could pick one up now no doubt lowish to good miles clean and ready to show if you wish

i know exactly what your saying i have waited years ti get one of these cars and now i have the cash i am chapping at the bit to get one ,well almost i have walked away from 2 because of different things .
i am at my limit at 13k that said i could do 14k if i beg and borrow but i would rather not ,also not really sure in what i want take the two that are on sale here this now ,the black standard one is loverly and i will be honest i am losing sleep over that one lol, but is it to clean ?????? then the blue modded one stunning to look at but if it went wrong am i looking at bigger bucks to fix ,??something in the middle prehaps is what i would like but as you say it could take 4 weeks or 4 months to turn up .i have wasted £150 in fuel already running around the country looking at ecos,s and i feel that will only go up my prob is i am a fussy twat i know what i want its just trying to find it .
