Yeah.......... just putting the kettle on can't get the friggin' bumper off one bolt stopping it........... the front one you just have to loosen on the offside is stuck....... and typically it's the worst one to get at, just got the washer bottle off to see if that gives better access to get a spanner on it

Tea first though ....................... and a Hob Nob

Bumpers off .................. amazing what you can do with a Hob Non inside ya

............ and found boost leak Inlet manifold gasket, fine on top but pissing out of the bottom, once the oily stuff was wiped away the fairy liquid showed it up no probs

I'm guessing it's one of these paper ones i've read about so probs best to relace with one of the Klinger ones that Mike does but typically i think he's on holiday or summat so a bit stuck as to where else i can get one................

are you talking about where the inlet meets the head ? The gasket that's gone on mine is the one between the two halves of the RS500 8 Inj. Inlet....... rectangular thing with ten holes

Edit: Plenum is probably the word i am looking for

Yep, just got back from Burton with one Dave, my pitcrew , popped round last night and got me started and gave me a few pointers so now it's just down to me to finish getting it apart and stick the new one in

Looks a bit fiddly but no more than some of the gas boilers i work on so fingers crossed if you see a huge fireball coming from the Essex direction later you'll know it's not gone well....................
