  • Cam cover refurb- Paint or powdercoat?

Im doing my camcover and was wondering what wears the best, paint or powdercoat?
Any special things needed, like stove enameling or high temp paint?

All of the above will be fine. I've colour coded mine ash black out of a rattle can and it's been absolutely fine

wELL dAVE the standard ford rocker in my view has only the lightest of wafts.
its not laquered either so i'd say if you used paint and it was vht ok just chemically cleaning and carefull masking up could see yer with a belting looking rocker cocker

I had 3 i have powered coated and they came up really well.

I had one painted before and i would say the powercoating was a better job.

I was worried about too much powered coating taking the depth out of the letters but the guy inisited it wouldnt so i let him do one and he agreed if it wasnt what i wanted he would blast it off again for me so it was a win win and it turned out perfect so i gave him the other 2 to do.

He blasted 3 of them for £25 and powercoated them 3 different colours for £10 each which i thought was a bargin.

They look mint! Are they professionally sprayed at a sprayers or done with aerosols?
