well my guess is that either franco cunico won the italian rally championship just after these montes were commisioned at karmann and someone in italy said eh we wanna tributio to franco capiche already ! or they were not selling in lhd format well because monte is not italy and your italians don't want that sort of thing and it was a sales disaster so someone had a great idea

Yes, i have all the chassis number for the Martini T25 and they are sequential numbered!! Ford Italia ordered 100 sequential chassis numbered to obtain a special Martini series with the classic Martini logos inside and outside (like T35) but without the number inside but on the sequentialized chassis!
NB: As many knows Ford sometime and for some color made different tint type of the same color and it seem that the Martini's Petrol Blue is with more cyan in it.
