I sort of did it as i moved to spain and set up my own garage, learned the lingo and it was the best thing i ever did, even my 2 yr old son loved it! Unfortunately my missus decided she wanted to come back after 3 yrs so (because of my son) we came back, but i would go back tomorrow without a penny if i could! this country has some great attributes but after you have experianced life abroad you can see how little this place has going for it!!! (and my missus is spanish)
yeh my friends going next week & he,s a tiler, so he,s helped me a lot & knows all the in,s & outs & who to go through...it took 12 months from start to finish....ive always been in work & got all the city & guilds so im ok in that department finger,s crossed..... i just think this countrys buggered & think my kids could have a better life down under...
think your right mark...i hate the winters here but i love england in the summer... but its getting dearer here & the powers that be dont give a monkeys about the working man ...... lets revolt!!!!!
I tryed for America a few years ago its a flipping hard place to get into ie the green cards and stuff
Its got fooking hard after 9/11 If you get a green card you can live there for 3 years then you have to apply again for your new green card for your next 3 years before you can go for citzenship. So for six years you could be out in a flash

Thats what put me off
Easy way is to marry one of them
Every time i hear an american woman speak it reminds me of porn films
i`am a plumber to trade , got accepted and all that jazz (at the time it wa £1 to $2.75 NZD) this was great as i was ready to go just adding money to the pot to go , plan was take 6 months off train to become a sky diving photographer (all ready a qualified sky diver) then fall back on my trade to fufill my VISA requirements to stay
then 8 months before i was to go i went on one last sky diving holiday and broke my tib and fib , basically if it happened again all the kings horses and men wouldnt be able to put it back again
then the recesion hit , so i decided to stay here in jersey , did think about moving back home to scotland
anyway recentley with how stong the $nzd is with the £gbp it aint worth it no more , and NZD cost of living has rocketed n the past 24 months
yeah you can buy property in the sticks cheap but its mile and miles form anything and when you go in to town areas its london money for property
but personally depending on your work try canada , i worked out there in 2005 and it was amazin , only reason i couldnt get a full time VISA , as they didnt see my trade as a nesssacery
