its a tricky one for people as finding the right car wot you want isnt alwas easy especially with these escorts, i looked for over a year for mine so dont just rush out and buy 1 for the sake of it- hold out and the right one will come along fella.

I have constantly kept an eye on the net to be honest, looking for the right one, going to see one tomorrow, very low mileage but high owner, but looks alright, room for improvement though ha!

Owners should not bother anybody. Condition is key.

You may go to see a 2 owner car thats been sat in a damp garage with 20k on it and it may not be that great or you may go and see a 12 owner car with mid/high mileage thats been very well looked after and in superb condition.

Cars like ours are all about wow factor and what your gut feeling tells you when you go to view them. Some people own our cars for a month just so they can say " oh yeah ive had one of them" and some people keep them forever more.

IMO you buy on condition not owners. Unless your looking for some concours thingy. Even then do you loose points for more owners??

remember its also the type of car that certain types (indecisive people) will buy, have 6 months/a year of fun then sell on because they are "bored". you know the types, late 20's and have owned like 30 cars or something daft

most people buy em to hold on to them so as long as its a nice runner you you shouldnt really worry

i'm looking at one tomorrow, i would be the twelfth owner, but 55,000 miles backed up with all old m.o.t's apart from the very 1st one or two. looks clean and standard.

Then another with 2 owners just under 90k
