  • Biker Boys.....

Im interested in getting a motorbike (Been thinking of a road legal quad for ages), but the sports bikes Ive rode (R1 and GSXR1000) are not comfortable for a 6ft 7in 22 stone bloke, especially on long journeys

So what bikes are out there for tall people like me?

I loved the look of the Ducati in Tron Legacy (Pictured below), but they stopped production and was only in American I think

I think with the size you are mate you need to concentrate on Sport/tourers or as the Duke some kind of street bike. I had a Kawasaki Z1000 and i have also had a Yamaha XJR1300, very similar to this is the Suzuki GSX1400.. Another good bike is the Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer, R1 engine but not full on race styling...

All these will give you more room and a more up right seating possition..

Also mate if your looking to do distance rides, get a faired bike not naked, naked becomes hard work after a few miles..

KTM Superduke could be what your looking for, a bit different, plenty of get up and go and an upright riding position

It would have to look good as all my mates have got sports bikes. I will be mainly local as I live 10mins from Box Hill where everyone goes on a Sunday and I need it just to commute to work. When Im more confident I would like to do some longer journeys, say 50-100mile motorways.

                            Thanks
