  • rear drive shaft couplings dismantle and reassemble

as above how easy to completely take apart eg bearings x6 and holders as i have taken apart but cant fathom how they go back together i have greased them up and i can get half of it in but then it goes tight and wont go any further sorry no pics if you look in resto and look at turbocat pics under Underside tidy up escos part 2 on page 2 you will see the bits that i am on about as i have seen his pics with them apart but not together????????????

    It's easy to do mate,

Grease everything and put the small cog type part inside the cage and angle it so you can pop in each bearing,

    Hard to explain really

well after spending 1and 1/2 hrs on this i have managed to get one drive shaft done although one side moves freely but the opposite side moves and then it goes tight that you cant move it i have got the other bearings in the other holders however when i put on the shaft they do not move oh f**k i have had enough of breaking my back trying to do this for the last 2 days is there any places around northampton area that can fit these????????????????????????

they are a pain to do,if you look at the main holder the grooves inside it where the bearings go are slighlty diff spaced, they look identical at a quick glance, you need to get the cage and bearings fitted into it then angle it and pop each ball in,it will only work once youve sussed out which groove is the right one if you know what i mean
