They "look" like the have a good tread pattern for shifting water. Look on the Demon Tweeks website, they have the sizes available (245/35x18 same as you have) .

Cool........ £696 for the set ........ and agreed on 'the look' and it says road use onthe page aswell, shame they're untested by anyone here but these could be the ones

Dunno what i'm smiling for as it's still a fook of a lot of money but at least they are competitive in comparison Though that's probs not a fitted price

Oh yeah, i didn't spot the trackday tyres sub section at the bottom of the page

Now i just need to finish off these F1's and then figure out how i'm going to buy these tyres without someone knowing how much i've spent i need somewhere local so i can go and pay cash......... then tell her they were £45 a corner

Jules you could always stick my name on the parcel and say you're looking after it for me until we meet at a show, and hope she forgets it when you do go to another one

I have to say I do send parts to my brother's house and sneak them back home at times, but then its easy as he's only round the corner

It's not so much the stuff being seen Ben.......... it's the cost of the stuff

I find it a shock and i know the reality of costs............ she has no perception atall.......... and would go friggin' mental if she knew the cash that pours into this thing

So i have to avoid using the plastic as the statements get scrutinised.............. though to be fair i would never use 'our' money for 'my' toy anyway, i only use money i earn on cash jobs that i do above what i need to do to sustain normal life......... if that makes sense

So Ben, would you buy my tyres on your plastic and i'll come round and buy them off you with cash lol............. if you use your Tesco's card you can keep the points

Makes perfect sense and I know where you are coming from, thing is the prices are going to get worse the more years that go by which is a real real shame.

Luckily for me Lou doesn't open the post or gets involved in the money side of things and most of the bills are in my name, so she never see's what gets spent she just asks for money or bungs it on the debit card

If it will help you out Jules I would be quite happy to do it for you, unfortunately I don't have a tesco card though just a halifax one

So, 225/40 doesn't look stretched on an 8x18 wheel then

Until the Federals are available in 245/35 i'm thinking i might get some cheap Falken FK452's in the smaller size for my spare set of wheels just as a stop gap.

I can get the 4 Falkens delivered for £282:56 .............. as opposed to £770 for say Conti 5's in 245/35 fitted
