  • Rear view mirror!!

ok something thats been bugging the shit out of me for ages couple of years ago i had the screen replaced, they left me to refit the mirror i went to the local motor factors and they gave me these foam sticky pads...

HOWEVER there shit! The mirror moves about wobbles and PISSES the fcuk out of me. So is there any better way of doing it!? how do the new mirror on the new cars go on they have a base they clip onto?

Basically i dont care what i have to do change it to a different mirror i dont care as long as it fits, doesnt wobble and i can adjust it without having to worry about it coming off the screen

    HELP!!!

I had same problem and used UHU adhesive for glass and metal.
Now no movement and never come off again even in the sun or deep freeze of winter

I had my mirror replaced too (not on the Escos) and the windscreen fella did mine and gave me a few spare ones. I have sinced used them to fit other mirrors and they are excellent. So go and ask any windscreen guy, I'm sure he'll give you a couple.

            Scouse.

before when ive fixed them ive used a mirror kit that has a little bit of mesh that you bond to the mirror then stick it on the screen and the glue stuff seeps through the mesh and onto the glass they are perfect and hold it solid, cant remember where from though lol
