What size tyres for Escos with 18*9 wheels?

I wouldnt run any wider than 245/35-18 on a 8.5" wide rim if you want to avoid bulging tyre look.

i have just bought a Spec R i/cooler for my car,just incase i fit my old engine and t4.

MIGHT have a chance of giving you a good run for your money then on track lol.

I thought my spare tyre collection was quite big, I've got 4 stacks on pallets wrapped up in tarpaulin tucked behind the garage

But half of those are 15" 888's for the clio

Sorry for not replying sooner Mike, most of my Rotas for the Evo are ET30. Standard Evo 789 and Evo X wheels are all ET38

All the wheels and tyres are now in my brother's garage, and his car has been relegated to one of my garages, not that I'm complaining, always handy having a spare Evo lying around!

Agreed with that, my Evo 10 wheels are 8.5", and have 245/40/18s, which looks just right. I have some 235/40/18s on another set of 8.5" wheels, and they look ok too. No wider though IMHO.

Does your local kwik fit not lock their garage up on a night?

I do a lot of trackdays, so I've got a few sets of wheels for different purposes - I have wets, R888s, slicks, road tyres etc, all mounted on different wheels. They're all for the Evo.

I have just bought a new set for the Escos as well, so now another 4 wheels to lob in the pile if I don't sell them.
