As you gave me credit as an apology I thought I'd give Parcel2Go a second chance and guess what..…

They have taken 7 days to make a 2 day delivery and there excuse (city link) we couldn't find the address even though the address is correct and the mobile number for the fella waiting for the parcel was on the parcel but rather than Ron and ask for help/directions etc they took the parcel back to the depot an have left it there since last Thursday

Everyday the agent on live chat has promised delivery the next day, then the next then the next for 5 days!

In the end I complained direct to city link as parcel2go is a waste of time!

Your goodwill gesture of credit is a waste of time as you failed
    Again the very next time,

My advice to people is to pay a proper Courier firm to deliver your goods if you actually want the customer to receive them

    Thanks
    Marc

Honestly mate it is beyond a joke

The distance from my house to the delivery address is 152 miles so id do that on under a tank of juice which cost's £75

Your service cost approx £60 for 2 day delivery insured for £600 (fair enough that £30 i used your free code you gave me last time your company failed to provide an adequate service)

I could of drove there and back quicker than the time it has taken you to reply to my complaint

I looked on route map and the postcode is correct but i understand it may be tricky to find the actual address when there so that is why you ask for a contact number i assume? yet for 4 days straight you decide the best thing to do is toss the parcel in a corner somewhere & not a single person on your side or city link's has the sense to ring the number if their is a query.

And worse than that is your online agents just feed the customer what he wants to hear everyday, yet when i personally speak to a girl called Emma from city link's Hatfield office, she informs me there was a delivery address issue on the Thursday and the parcel has not been out on a lorry for re delivery since. so they were lying to the customer

If you are looking into this tomorrow as the girl Emma also said she would, and stated she would make sure it goes out for delivery and that the driver rings the contact number if there is any problems finding it then can you also please make sure they ring the man to ask for directions if lost or unable to locate him.

I understand this is not normal service etc but the total lack of effort to uphold the service you charge good money for is shocking

I will email you again now just so you have all his details and contact info and i sincerely hope that he receives his parcel tomorrow and that after 7 days laying about somewhere there is no damage to the items or i will be making a full claim

      Thanks
      Marc

I see George knows how to say "sorry", he must be getting a bit pissed off with his company!! If I miss a customer in my job, I need a very good reason why or I HAVE to go back!!!

And all this bad publicity can't be doing parceltogo much good, especially in this economic climate!!

                Scouse.

I emailed you as requested and just got an automated message, what a waste of time, great customer service that is

This Thursday will be 3 weeks since it was collected and i am still none the wiser other than your guys telling me it has been lost.

I forgot to say one of the best bits.....when completing my claim form for the lost parcel,

YOU ASK ME TO PROVE IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED!

Also how about the fact that the tracking number says it has not been delivered and the fact YOUR OWN STAFF HAVE TOLD ME IT HAS BEEN LOST!

Yet i have to piss about asking the already pissed off buyer to write an email expalining what everybodys already knows to prove to you it has not been delivered and that YOU lost it

% days into the claim, and no response, email George as asked above and no respone, contact customer service on live chat and no help at all

What a f*cking joke this firm is

Welcome to Parcel2go.com. Someone shall be with you shortly. You are now connected with Sarah H

Sarah H : Welcome to Parcel2go.com online. How may I help you today?

Marc: I made a claim for my lost parcel 5 days ago and all the details say is in enquiry??? 5 days and i have been told nothing and not been contacted once! i need to know what is happening please

                      Marc: P2G8991129

                      Marc: claim number 53119

Marc: This is a joke now im afraid

Sarah H : Can you give me a minute or two to look into this for you?

Marc: yes but the parcel was sent nearly 3 weeks ago now, been lost, submitted the claim as asked, told it would be resolved one way or another in 5days and yet no one not once has even bothered to contat me or give me any info at all

Marc: Sorry to take it out on you directly but your the only people i can talk to as George the customer service bloke never bothered getting back to me

Sarah H : Sorry for the delay – I’m still looking into this for you.

Marc: If you look on parcelforce's own tracking details, it says "11-06-2012 07:48 Delivery Agent - KOLN - PTT Forwarded for export"

Marc: So does that mean it isn't lost anymore and is on its way?

                      Sarah H : Thank you, I won't be a moment.

Sarah H : I'm sorry to say that as I am not a member of the claims team myself, my power to help you here is limited as I do not have access to the enquiry. I would advise you to contact the claims department directly, where they can help you more: claims@parcel2go.com. Alternatively on live help between 3opm and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Marc: Your firm is a bloody joke

Marc: I contacted them already and no one could be bothered to reply!

Sarah H : I am sorry you feel this way Marc. As this is now in the process and I not a member of the claims team, I unfortunately unable to advise. If you have had no response via email, a claims advisor is on live help between 3pm and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Marc: I have contacted parcelforce, hopefully there customer care is better than yours, again not your fault so sorry to vent my frustration but it is ridiculous, nearly 3 weeks, no parcel, no customer service, and no response in 5 days to a claim that i was told would be resolved in 5 days

How easy is it to complain to the likes of watchdog so other people can avoid this rip off firm
