I have the hubcentric spacers and they are the variety that bolt to the original studs then have 4 more studs pressed into the actual spacer that the wheel bolts to

My question is.........What nuts should i use to bolt the spacer to the original studs?

Half nuts? normal full size nuts? nylocs? i cant find anywhere that show a pic or tells what type of nut should be used? the thread i need is M14x1.5

I would feel better if it was a self locking type nut as there gonna be hidden away behind the wheel so not as easy to check as the outer wheel nuts

    Thanks

Hi Marc, Looking at your pics i would use a full nut if there`s enough depth in the spacer, more threads the better. What length of stud are you using? I`ve got some m14 half nuts if you need there height measured. I`ve had a similar issue with my pug and its wheel spacers as i found genuine groupA M14 studs not long enough and massively overpriced! A question i`ve never found the answer to reguarding Widetrack is "How much wider is widetrack"? I know cheap widetrack was to fit ET15 wheels rather than the ET33 on group N cars, so is widetrack equal to 18mm-ish?

Il be able to use full nut and i will drill the stud and lock wire it i think as mentioned above,

I use m14x1.5 studs that are 76mm long and that is just enough if not using spacers on an et33 wheel, they cost £2.75 each compared to dewitts 83mm long at £12.50 each, but dewitts have plain shank and a turned end

Here you can see the stud goes all the way through the nut and has about 16 full turns which is plenty, (these are 76mm studs)

Im not aiming to mimmick exact grp a/wrc widetrack i just want to fill the arches fully

The plain M14 nuts that i have are 11mm in height, the picture is my wheels on Group A std M14 nuts and studs but like yourself i need a 25mm spacer with ET15 wheels to fill the arches out, Now i need another 18mm spacer aswell to be able to use my OZ mags which are ET33, Anyway that ideas scrapped now as the Cromodora with ET10 are on there way from Compomotive

You could use these longer studs 105mm like i`m going to, then there`s no worry as there`s only your wheel nuts?

Bottom is Group A(made out of pure gold!)with a sleave and alloy nut, Middle is 85mm with a threaded sleave and Top is 105mm with a threaded sleave M14 steel nut
