KJC, everyone else seems to have these kits without problem. The biting point is ok, but I wanna be 100% it's disengaging the clutch as the gearbox is crunching into reverse.
Wenny came up with the idea if drilling a hole in the bell housings on our FFD's this way with a light you can see clearly inside, so you can get the sweet spot on the clutch bite point. We then have a gromit pushed in to stop any dirt getting in.

Last thing you want is the not releasing properly

Does sound like a bleed and adjustment is the way to go

Is there not a pushrod on the slave cylinder so you can adjust that instead of having the brake pedal higher up?

You can screw the rod in the master cylinder in and out to adjust the biting point. This will slightly alter the height of the pedal. If yours is miles out it could be the master cylinder isn't mounted 100% correctly.

I'm my experience the cylinder sizes have nothing to do with the biting point. Changing them alters how hard or easy the clutch pedal is to depress.

A little off topic but does anyone know where i can get just the hose and slave cylinder ? I have a pedal box already so dont need the master or rod to the pedal arrangement.
